Staying at "The Rainbow Farms" was like stepping into a postcard; a dream mountain escape. The charming cottage blends old-world charm with modern comforts. Stunning views, from sunrise to sunset, will take your breath away. It's impeccably maintained and feels like home. Hiking and trekking trails cater to all levels. This place is heaven-on-earth for those looking for a quiet, serene, amongst-nature-and-forest-and-yet-well-connected place. The house is beautiful, the surrounding is picturesque, the owner and their staff are so helpful and prompt in their support. This is perfect if you want to stay as a family (two couples), with a well-done kitchen, enough rooms. You'll find intricate personal attention to details in the architecture/desiging/furnishing of the place. Nearby places to visit is Zostel plus (also owned by the same owner) so you can avail of the nice cafe there and also other outgoing activities and their gaming section, there is a nice 'secret waterfall' (that is the name also of the falls) which is a short walk away, there is a monastery which you can hike to (3-4 kms but a lovely walk), nice temples on various hillocks and don't miss the Kalidhar temple for a fantastic view of the sunset, Sainji Corn village where you can spend some time in a nice cafe and also walk around the village. Superb stay, beautiful location, and very caring hosts. I've stayed here multiple times and it is always a very peaceful time in the mountains. The local food is very tasty and there are different cafés in walking distance. Big recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Rainbow Farms - it is a beautifully designed space with great views of the valley - the windows on all 3 sides of the living room and bedroom offer uninterrupted views even from inside. The cottage has well equipped kitchen to cook proper meals. We could also get takeout from restaurants at walking distance. Most importantly this space was clean and well maintained. And absolutely the best reason to stay here is to enjoy Mussoorie away from the crowds - Kempty falls is less than 30 min walk, hike to happy valley start just 5min from this cottage. Benog sanctuary is a short drive away. And Sanyukta was a great host (and we were treated to her farms strawberries and golden raspberries during our second stay) and has provided us with all the things to do and explore around and even took us to a local swimming spot along the stream. Indeed it was a beautiful place.Peaceful surroundings with birds chirping around and beautiful water stream! Ahh!Sukoon one can get here only.The host Sanyukta, guided us so well to explore all the near by hidden gems and local places. It was worth staying over here. We stayed 1 month in the Earth Cottage during monsoon and had the best time! The cottage is all surounded by mountains and forest, feels very detached and at the same time close to the main road. They have got really wonderful properties to stay in The Rainbow Farms. The view from their cottages is so peaceful and calm. I have visited twice and stayed almost a month both the time. You may see colourful birds chirping and downstream sound throughout the day which is very soothing. For me it was one of my best stay ever in the mountains. Sanyukta & Desna are great host and they make you feel like a family. Always there to help you to explore Mussoorie properly. The Rainbow Farms is such a beautiful place.  We took both the rooms and both of them were cozy clean and comfortable with a great view. Chill vibe and super supportive host. They also have the sweetest doggos which is a plus if you are a dog lover. Attaching some photos to encourage you to plan a vacay here :) If you love calm and serene places this is for you.
