Experiences around our homes
Located at Village Bungalow ki Kandi in Jaunpur, Tehri Garhwal, it’s close to Mussoorie but away from its congested hill-station crowd with farms, forests, waterfalls and streams around.
It’s a tourist destination where guests enjoy hiking, taking in the view, bathing in stream, adventure and cultural activities, bonfires and stargazing in clear night.
There are restaurants and cafes nearby, you can choose to mingle with fellow travelers, or decide to have your own quiet time. My family is always happy to guide, share local tips and knowledge and invite you to join in celebrating the many seasonal festivals.
Just around Rainbow Farms, spend a day walking different bathing spots in the stream, test your daring with the zipline or ladder bridge, see the watermill – an ancient invention still being used to grind flour using water turbine.
Visit Benog Sanctuary (2kms). A fairy-tale forest which is a biodiversity hotspot. Enjoy birdwatching amidst deep forest flora of lush moss, ferns, tall oaks and deodars with hardly another person around. A little stream sings along the walk with butterflies guiding your way.
